New appointments in E. Helaakoski Oy organisation

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Herbert Engler (MBA, M. Eng) has been appointed  as Director, sales and business development for E. Helaakoski Oy on the fifth of August in 2024.

Herbert will be responsible for sales and business development for international projects at E. Helaakoski Oy and will serve our customers in Europe.

Herbet has significant expertise in planning, managing, and evaluating projects internationally. With a background in logistics engineering and management, Herbert has held key positions such as Global Operation Manager and Managing Director in reputable companies successfully. Herbert has extensive experience especially from both the wind industry and the oil and gas sector. He has a demonstrated history of driving excellence, where he has successfully managed global operations.

Additionally, Mr. Raimo Tervapuro, previously our Transport Manager, has been appointed as Director, sales and projects and will continue to serve our customers in the field of renewable energy projects and heavy lifting projects.

These two new appointments are part of our strategy as we strengthen our position in serving our clients in international projects particularly in the renewable energy sector, large-scale projects and heavy lifting needs.

As we strengthen our organisation, we also announce the opening of an office in Hamburg, Germany, where Herbert will also be present. Raimo will continue his work from our head office in Raahe, Finland.
