E. Helaakoski Oy and Stora Enso have signed a framework agreement for the paperboard line conversion project at Oulu mill

During the spring, E. Helaakoski Oy has signed a framework agreement with Stora Enso on the delivery of lifting services for the conversion project at the Oulu mill.

Last October, Stora Enso announced a billion–euro investment in the Oulu mill to convert an old paper machine into a sustainable consumer board production line. The project has begun, and the new production line is expected to be operational during 2025.

In accordance with the project framework agreement with Stora Enso, we deliver lifting services during the project to the parties involved in the project safely, with high quality and commitment. Each assignment includes high-performance equipment suitable for the task, trained professionals who carry out lifting work in accordance with pre–planned instructions and safety regulations, a designated contact person to answer all enquiries and a maintenance organization that ensures that the machines are in first–class condition. The project staff will ensure the services needed during the project according to the customer‘s needs without delay.

Occupational safety

We plan the different stages of service production from the perspective of risk management. We use risk management tools to assess the overall risks of a lifting project and the risks related to individual work. A written risk assessment is always carried out before the work is carried out. You can be sure that you have professional and safe staff at your disposal at every stage of the project.  Safe lifting requires careful consideration of occupational safety issues at every stage of the project. Careful advance planning of lifts and adherence to plans make the site safe for everyone working on the site.
