E. Helaakoski Oy is ISO 14001-certified!

Taking the environment into account has played an important role in E. Helaakoski’s service production process for years. At the beginning of 2024, we received an official environmental certificate for our environmental management system for all of the company’s sites. Now both of the globally known ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates cover all of our company’s locations.
The importance of environmental certification
In accordance with the environmental certificate, we have a well-functioning environmental management system and tools for continuous improvement. ISO 14001 certification is a concrete demonstration that we take responsibility, environmental issues and safety seriously. Our customers can trust that we at E. Helaakoski operate safely, with high quality and responsibly in accordance with predefined operating models.
Responsible service production process
We take climate and the environment into account in our operations, covering the entire service production process, from design to implementation. Emission reduction, transport optimisation and regular maintenance programmes are key elements in producing responsible lifting services. In accordance with our fleet strategy, we invest in lower-emission lifting equipment, invest in the renewal of old equipment and also invest in the provision of emission-free lifting services. In our fleet you will also find Finland’s first electric mobile cranes.
Development of the environmental management system
In the future, we want to invest even more in responsibility and take steps towards more effective climate work, in as close cooperation as possible with our customers and partners.
